Quick and Easy Pizza Dough

1 1/2 cups warm water
1 pkg. or 2 1/4 tsp. yeast
3 1/2 cups bread flour
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. sugar

In a large mixing bowl, add warm water and yeast. Allow mixture to sit 5 minutes while the yeast dissolves; after 5 minutes, mixture should appear foamy. Attach bowl to mixture (or mix by hand) and stir in flour (1 cup at a time), oil, salt, and sugar. Attach kneading hook and knead for 10 minutes on speed 2 (or knead by hand until smooth dough forms). Place dough in a lightly oil bowl, turn to coat; cover, and allow dough to rise for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 450. Divide dough in half. Roll out one half onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet. Bake for 7-8 minutes. Add toppings and bake additional 8-10 minutes.

Yield: dough for 2 pizzas

Tip: Butter crust right after baking.

Toppings added: White sauce (alfredo), olive oil, feta cheese, fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes, fresh oregano
